Cyclone Arnab Updates: बंगाल की खाड़ी से उठे भीषण चक्रवाती तूफान 'अर्नब' ने बुधवार सुबह आंध्र प्रदेश के तटीय इलाकों और यानम में दस्तक दे दी है। भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) के मुताबिक, लैंडफॉल की यह प्रक्रिया काकीनाडा के पास सुबह 4 बजे के करीब पूरी हो रही है, लेकिन इसका असर अगले कई घंटों तक बना रहेगा। तटीय क्षेत्रों में 125 से 135 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चल रही हैं, जो बीच-बीच में 150 किमी प्रति घंटे की खतरनाक गति को छू रही हैं। तेज तूफानी हवाओं और मूसलाधार बारिश ने आम जनजीवन को पूरी तरह से अस्त-व्यस्त कर दिया है।

Cyclone Arnab Landfall: आंध्र और यानम में तबाही का मंजर, पेड़ उखड़े

तूफान के टकराते ही तटीय इलाकों में भारी नुकसान की खबरें सामने आने लगी हैं:

• उखड़े पेड़ और बिजली ठप: विशाखापत्तनम में एयू कॉलेज ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग फॉर विमेन के पास भारी हवाओं से पेड़ उखड़ गए। पुडुचेरी के यानम में भी कई पेड़ गिरने से रास्ते बंद हो गए हैं।
• लैंडफॉल की स्थिति: मौसम विभाग का कहना है कि टकराने के बाद तूफान उत्तर-उत्तर-पश्चिम दिशा में बढ़ेगा, जिससे आंध्र के साथ-साथ पश्चिम बंगाल और ओडिशा के कई हिस्सों में मूसलाधार बारिश होगी।

Flight Operations Hit: आंध्र प्रदेश के 3 एयरपोर्ट पर उड़ानें रद्द, कई शहरों में असर

तूफान की वजह से नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय (MoCA) ने सुरक्षा तैयारियों की समीक्षा की है और कई कड़े कदम उठाए हैं:

• उड़ानें सस्पेंड: आंध्र प्रदेश के तीन मुख्य हवाई अड्डों पर फ्लाइट्स का संचालन पूरी तरह रोक दिया गया है। एयरलाइंस ने तटीय आंध्र और भुवनेश्वर आने-जाने वाली उड़ानें रद्द कर दी हैं।
• दूसरे राज्यों पर असर: तूफान के रास्ते को देखते हुए हैदराबाद, वाराणसी, प्रयागराज और गोरखपुर जाने वाली उड़ानों में भी देरी हो सकती है।

Protecting every life is our foremost priority as Andhra Pradesh prepares to face #CycloneArnab.

I have reviewed the situation four times since this morning and remain in constant contact with District Collectors and senior officials. Through continuous reviews, I am monitoring evacuations and ensuring that personnel, equipment and essential supplies reach vulnerable areas promptly.

We have identified 2,199 cyclone shelters and prepared evacuation plans, prioritising the elderly, children, persons with disabilities and pregnant women. Already, 2,360 pregnant women have been shifted to medical facilities.

Twelve NDRF and ten SDRF teams have been assigned to the districts, with deployment underway. Police, Fire Services and medical teams are mobilised, while the Navy and Coast Guard are ready to assist. Food, drinking water, medicines and generators are being arranged, and over 8,400 power restoration personnel have been mobilised. Control rooms are functioning round the clock.

I appeal to everyone to remain calm, stay alert and cooperate with the authorities. Move immediately to designated shelters when advised. Fishermen must not venture into the sea until official clearance is given.

Keep essential supplies and charged phones ready. Avoid unnecessary travel, beaches, riverbanks, floodwaters and fallen power lines. Remain in safe shelter until authorities confirm that the danger has passed.

Follow official updates and government precautions. Do not circulate rumours. Please check on vulnerable neighbours and inform local officials of anyone needing assistance.

The government machinery is working continuously for your safety. Your timely cooperation will help us protect lives. Together, we will face this challenge.

High Alert & Relief Work: 6,000 बिजलीकर्मी तैनात, नेपाल में ट्रेकिंग पर रोक

प्रशासन और राज्य सरकारें इस आपदा से निपटने के लिए युद्ध स्तर पर जुटी हुई हैं:

• मुख्यमंत्री की अपील: आंध्र के सीएम एन. चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने कहा कि "हर जान बचाना हमारी पहली प्राथमिकता है।" सरकार लगातार स्थिति पर नजर बनाए हुए है।
• बिजली व्यवस्था दुरुस्त करने की तैयारी: चक्रवात से बिजली व्यवस्था को नुकसान न पहुंचे, इसके लिए 6,000 कर्मियों को तुरंत तैनात किया गया है।
• नेपाल तक असर: चक्रवात के कारण भारी बर्फबारी और बर्फीले तूफान के खतरे को देखते हुए नेपाल ने 29 से 31 अक्टूबर तक ऊंचे हिमालयी इलाकों में ट्रेकिंग परमिट पर रोक लगा दी है।
